High-Lift Door Systems
Getting high-lift garage doors right is all about attention to detail. The balance needs to be correct, or the door will get bound up, or wear out operator bearings. While manufacturers ship doors with high lift , it tends to be 'close' rather than correct. We re-balance all doors we install with high lift and also make sure the track systems are sufficiently reinforced and aligned to deliver the result you want – proper balance and years of trouble-free service.
We have experience designing and installing high-lift commercial door hardware to go above one restriction and below another. For example, in one application we had a 12" gap above a crane and below the sprinkler system at an industrial facility. The door was a 24x24 with 8 feet of high-lift. Not only did we achieve the desired location of the door, but were able to exactly balance the door to ensure the operator does not prematurely wear.
Custom Overhead Doors for Restaurant Patio
These doors came together as a team effort. From custom-designed hardware, painted blackout, custom spring cover, and inverted operator, this was one of those showpiece jobs that really allowed us to demonstrate what is possible.
Aluminum and glass overhead doors equipped low-e glass to reduce infrared heat transmission. Manaras heavy-duty roller-bearing operators. 3" custom designed hardware keeps the doors in line with the structural beams and out of the view of the upper windows.
Custom Entryway with Automated Gate & Pillars
We were contracted to provide a steel framework for these pillars, supply and install the gates, and of course automate the gates. The project turned out excellent.
Other Custom Projects
Here are some examples of other custom residential and commercial door projects we have completed. (More pictures will be posted as I dig through several years worth of pictures)
